Reginald C. Tye

Oct 18, 1964 – Aug 17, 2016

Service Details

A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 27 th at 6:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00pm until the time of service.

Racine, WI –

Reginald C. Tye, 51 passed away to eternal peace Wednesday, August 17th, 2016 in Bland County, Virginia. Reggie was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 18th, 1964 to Johnnie (Nee: Perkins) and Percy Tye. He was employed by Prime Inc. as an owner operator truck driver.

Reggie loved driving over the road. His travels took him nationwide. His obsession for anything automotive started at an early age. If Reggie was close to any family and friends while on the road he wouldn’t hesitate to look them up. The only thing he loved more than cars was his family. When he was home he spent his free time building an extensive music collection, dabbing in anything electronic, and spending time with “all” who loved him. Reggie’s laugh???  To all that knows was very infectious and will be dearly missed by a host of family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons ; Reginal and Taivon  Tye,  daughters;  Mercedes Tye,  Alexis and Samone  Smith, eight  grandchildren, two brothers; Tyrone(Deborah) and Maurice Tye,  two  sisters; Veronica (Andre) Steward and Monica Felix, all of Racine. Reggie was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and son Tristian Stewart.

Testimonials

November 13, 2019

The funeral service was just beautiful and very warming to everyone including my family. All the pictures they did and the employees were just fantastic. This is one funeral home I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to feel comfortable and to be treated like family. I can’t say enough good things because it was just such a warm welcome. Thank you to Mark and Mike. We couldn’t have done it without all of you.
