
Richard J. Boudreau Racine – Mr. Richard J. Boudreau, 76, died at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha on Monday, January 30, 2006. He was born in Racine on July 3, 1929 the son of John J. and Louise M. (nee: Lamire) Boudreau. On January 24, 1976, he married the former Mary Krekling. Richard retired from The Prairie School in 1994 after 24 years of employment. He was a longtime faithful member of Pentecost Evangelical Lutheran Church where he served in many capacities, including trustee. Richard enjoyed tinkering in his workshop and fixing things around the home and at church. However, he was happiest when in the surroundings of his family. In addition to his loving wife, Mary of 30 years, his survivors include his children, Richard (Nancy) Boudreau, Sue Tishken, Pam (Scot) Sinclair, Sandy (Stuart) Brown, Randy (Sabrina) Visser, Julie (Glenn) Heldt, Tracy Meyer; grandchildren, Sarah (Michael) Peterson, Eric Boudreau, Tarah and Stephanie Poelman, Jason and Brian MacDowell, Stuart Brown, Randall and Breyana Visser, Ashley, Cortney, Hannah Heldt, Heather, Samantha, Brittany and Kenny Meyer; great grandchildren, Katelyn Peterson, Mariah and Mel Franklin, Tyler MacDowell; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives. His infant granddaughter, Stacia Boudreau; sisters, Eva Wuerker, Doris Mapes and brothers, Hubert, Donald and Lawrence Boudreau also preceded him in death. Family and friends are invited to meet at Pentecost Lutheran Church (2213 Coolidge Ave.) on Friday, February 3, 2006 at 11:00 am for the celebration of his life and Christian burial with Rev. Paul Biber officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5-7 pm and in the church on Friday from 10-11 am. In lieu of flowers, Richard’s family wishes for memorials to be directed to Pentecost Lutheran Church. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha; especially the radiation department and the 2nd floor nursing staff for the excellent care Richard received during his illness.
