Racine – Robert “Bob” Louis Daher, Sr, 65, entered into eternal life on Friday, December 9, 2016. He was born in Portage, WI, on August 7, 1951, son of the late Alfred and Rose (Née: Tabor) Daher.
Bob worked for Jacobsen-Textron for 33 years and then for Twin Disc for another 12 years until his retirement. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army as a helicopter medic. Bob was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing, hunting and camping. He was the dependable Mr. Fixit to many. One of Bob’s biggest joys was being actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America for over 20 years, and sharing that joy with his sons. He also enjoyed donating his skills and time at Camp OhDakota.
Bob leaves to cherish his memory, his sons Robert (Kasey) Daher, Jr, Michael Daher; ex-wife and friend Diane Daher; three granddaughters, Jaisyn, Piper, Spirit; brother, William (Laura) Daher; sister, Cindy (Charlie) George; other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention.
In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his son, Jason (Alfred) Daher.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, 5:00pm until 7:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Thursday, December 15, 11:00am, at Living Faith Lutheran Church, 2915 Wright Avenue, with Rev. Dr. Warren D. Williams officiating. Visitation on Thursday will be in the church from 10:00am until the time of the service. Interment with full military honors will follow the service at West Lawn Memorial Park.
