His Homegoing Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, September 2nd at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Willie Scott officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Robert Charles Brown Sr., 74 was called home by his Loving Savior on Wednesday, August 23, 2017.
He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on January 28, 1943 the beloved son of the late John and Gussie Mae (nee: Davis) Brown. Robert was employed by various companies here in Racine and the Paulstra Corp., as well as several other companies in Grand Rapids.
He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and enjoyed watching college sports. Robert was a lover of music, especially the blues and gospel. He enjoyed having cookouts with family and friends. Robert watched movies and all kinds of cooking shows on T.V. He was a history buff and liked discussing politics. He was a true fashion statement. Robert could take a very inexpensive piece of clothing and make it look like a million dollars. He truly dressed to impress.
Surviving are his confidant, caregiver, best friend, and forever the love of his life, Phoebe Brown, children, Russell Brown; Regis (Danielle) Brown, Robert C. Brown Jr., Keith (Cindi) Brown, Rosalyn Tyler, all of Racine, Robert (Kim) Bell, of Grand Rapids, MI, Curtis White of Detroit, MI, Twyla Hurt, of TX, as well as several others, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Sara (Y.C.) Wesley, and Mary McCully, all of Grand Rapids, MI; sister-in-law, Doris Brown, of Atlanta, GA, loving mother-in-law Geraldine Price, and special friend, Charles Hayes both of Racine, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by three daughters, Tina, Tanya, and Robin; brothers, Willie John Brown and two infant brothers, Homer, Baby Brown,2 sisters, Versie Bingham, infant, Virginia Brown; and father-in-law, Lawrence Price.
