
Rudolf R. Stoewe, 84, passed away peacefully, in Wheaton Franciscan Hospital-All Saints, on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, surrounded by his loving family.
Rudy was born in Berlin, Germany on June 28, 1927, the son of the late Rudolf and Hilde (nee: Seiffert) Stoewe.
Rudy had been employed by In-Sink-Erator as a tool and die maker for nearly 18 years. Rudy was a longtime member of the Deutscher Manner Verein. He enjoyed soccer, Jagermeister, beer, and his German heritage.
Surviving are his wife, Jutta; their children, Robert (Mary) Stoewe, Nancy (Chris) Kemper, and Stephanie (Tom) Auer-Duval; grandchildren, Justan, Brandon (Brittany), Cameron, and Samantha; the light of his life, his great granddaughter, Elliana, and sister, Margarot Karautski. His nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends also survive him. In addition to his parents, Rudy was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Heffel. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and a private service was held.
