MILWAUKEE (FORMERLY OF RACINE) – Sally Attwood, born January 25, 1948 in Racine, passed away August 5, 2020 at Ignite Medical Resort, Oak Creek.  Sally took comfort in knowing she would be reunited in Heaven with her parents, Richard and Gwendolyn Gruner, and sister Bonnie Gruner who preceded her in death.  Sally moved to Milwaukee after high school and was employed by Blunt Ellis & Loewi, Miller Brewing and Foley & Lardner before retiring in 2013.  She loved spending time with friends and her beloved cats who she looks forward to seeing at the Rainbow Bridge.

A service for Sally will be held by her friends when the time is safe for everyone.

While I currently live in Florida, Sally and I enjoyed many fun get togethers, especially in years long past with our mutual friend, Julie. I would really like to speak to someone in Sally’s world who can fill me in on what happened. I’m reachable at 414-530-1203. Thanks. Pat Lambert

Sally was a friend of mine called me every morning through Viral Voices. We always talked about our lives and what we are doing, went out for dinner, and always talked about our cats. Trully miss her but her spirit is around me. God bless you Sally

I have no doubt that Sally’s generosity, ebullience and joyful spirit will be missed by every soul-human and feline-she touched. Her zest for life was truly infectious, and I cannot remember a conversation with her that didn’t end with laughter. Most importantly, I will always be grateful for her care of and friendship with my mother.

Sally and I met because I wanted to learn more about her wonderful Aunt Jessie. Sally was such a positive person; I’m grateful I got to know her a little, and like others, I hope to gather at a memorial to celebrate her life. I can be reached at 262-490-1811. Mary
