
Racine – Sandra J. (nee: Hoffman) Heintz; age 71; beloved wife of Eugene “Sonny” Heintz; passed away peacefully at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center on Monday, January 25, 2016.
Sandra was born in Racine on January 30, 1944 to the late Eugene and Doris (nee: Michna) Hoffman. She attended William Horlick High School, worked for Ensenada’s Restaurant and retired from Walmart after 10 years of service.
On May 29, 1965 in Doylestown, Wisconsin, she was united in marriage with the love of her life, Eugene John “Sonny” Heintz. Among her interests, she enjoyed playing cards – especially Solitare; old movies; and anything to do with John Wayne, Lucille Ball and Archie comics. Above all, Sandra loved and cherished spending time with her entire family.
Surviving are her husband of over 50 years, Sonny; their children, Donna Beaudoin, Diane (Clifford) Souter and Ann Heintz; grandchildren, David (Samantha) Beaudoin, William Beaudoin Jr., Cassondra Britton, Donovan Britton Jr., and Brittany Harmann; great-grandchildren, Miles and (soon to be born) Adam Beaudoin; sisters and brothers, David (Debra) Hoffman, Barbara (Jerry) Bergstrom, Rickie (Christine) Hoffman, Timothy Hoffman and her baby sister of whom Sandra shares the same birthdate with, Beckie (Rajelio) Ramirez; brothers-in-law, Kenny and Donny Heintz; sisters-in-law, Christine Welch, Carol Heintz and Sherry Heintz; God-son, Rojelio Ramirez, Jr.; best-friend of 68 years, Jeanette LaFonteese; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention all by name. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Will.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00 am at West Lawn Memorial Park Chapel (9000 Washington Avenue) with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Entombment will follow. Visitation will be in West Lawn Memorial Park Chapel on Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 am. In memory of Sandra, memorials to the family has been suggested.
A heartfelt note of thanks to the nurses and entire staff of Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center ICU for the compassionate care and support given in Sandra’s time of need. Your kindness and generosity will always be remembered.
