Thomas A. Reynolds

Thomas A. Reynolds, 46, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 21, 2007. He was born on September 28, 1960 in Madison, and had lived in Racine since 1985. On May 6, 1989 he was united in marriage to Barbara Harvey. Tom enjoyed cooking Italian food, listening to music, and caring for his pets. Tom attended St. Michael’s Episcopal Church. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Reynolds; sisters, Etta (Tom) Colwell, and Barbara Willet; brothers, Bud (Pat) Smith, Fred (Nancy) Ferrell, Charlie (Jackie) Reynolds, and Mike Reynolds; as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clara and Frank Reynolds, and brother-in-law John Willet. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 4701 Erie Street, with Rev. Terry McGugan officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery on Hwy 32. Visitation will begin in the church at 10 a.m.

    Well life can change real suddenly, in a New York minute, if you will. We are truly like that mist the psalmist talked about (appearing for a little while then disappearing). Tom I know you cherished the music as much as I do, probably even more. I long to be with you in that grand Karaoke Bar in the sky with nothing short of eternity to look forward to. Then we will finally be two wealthy souls. You first then me. In the immortal words of Fred Sanford (aka Redd Foxx): “I’m coming to join you.” When exactly, I don’t know. Perhaps where I’ll find you is an easier question to answer. “I am music and I love listening to the songs.” That’s where I hope to find your soul as well.
