
Racine – Timothy John Rothering, 47, received the promise of eternal life on Thursday, May 26, 2016, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in Racine on April 23, 1969, son of Donald and Sandra (nee: Lueckfeld) Rothering.
Tim graduated from J.I. Case High School in 1987. He most recently worked for Amazon in Kenosha. Tim was an avid golfer, fisherman, and deer hunter. He loved to be outdoors. Tim played volleyball from high school until about six years ago. He also enjoyed playing darts. Above all, Tim loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
Tim leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Donald and Sandra Rothering; siblings, William (Jan) Hankins, Scott (Kris) Rothering, Kelly Bauer; uncle, Dennis (Pat) Lueckfeld; aunt, Nancy Rothering; special friend, Sandy Spanske; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends too numerous to mention.
Tim is preceded in death by his grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
A celebration of Tim’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, 12:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road, with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the Rothering family.
The Rothering family would like to extend a heart-felt “Thank You” to Dr. James Hall, his nurse, Keri, and all of the staff in the cardiac ICU at WFH – All Saints.
