Racine- Todd Michael Pouliot, 66, received the promise of eternal life on Sunday, October 8, 2017.  He was born in Racine on October 10, 1950, son of the late Clayton and Gloria (nee: Zellen) Pouliot.

Todd was united in marriage on September 24, 1988, to the former Tamara Lee Treptow.

Todd graduated from Horlick High School in 1968.  He loved playing guitar at a young age and played with different bands throughout high school.  Todd had a tremendous work ethic and worked multiple jobs to be a good provider for his family until his retirement.  He worked as a machinist for InSinkErator for 10 years and as a machinist supervisor for Amatek for 26 years.  Most recently, Todd worked as a sales associate for Douglas Hardware.  In high school, Todd was very athletic and loved to play baseball, softball, golf, and bowling.  He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and loved rooting on his team every week during the fall.  Above all, Todd loved his family tremendously and will be dearly missed by them all.

Todd leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 29 years, Tamara Pouliot; children, Michael Pouliot, Jennifer (Corey) Brophy, Michelle Warmington, Trisha (John) Nejedly; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons, Jace Bergsrud, Corey Fields; brothers, Brian Pouliot, Avalt Tohm; sister, Lisa (Paul) Lubke; sister-in-law, Kathy Pouliot; nephew, Christopher Stacy; other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

In addition to his parents, Todd is preceded in death by his brother, Brad Pouliot; brother-in-law, Mark Borrmann, Sr.; father-in-law, Robert Treptow, Sr.; and mother-in-law, Phyllis Treptow.

A celebration of Todd’s life will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017, 12:00pm, at Blessed Hope Baptist Church, 4835 Taylor Avenue, with Rev. A.F. Williams officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service.  The family has suggested memorials to the American Cancer Society.  The family has requested that everyone come in their favorite Green Bay Packers clothing ready to celebrate Todd’s life.

Todd was my closest cousin even though I have been living in North Carolina for 19 years. I am saddened by his death. When we were young, Todd and I celebrated many Christmas Eve visits to our families homes, opening presents and eating all the goodies. Christmas was a special time in our families. My most memorable moment was when Todd and I sat alone on the back porch of his childhood home on the day his father, Topper, past away suddenly on July 4th. He was so young, as was I, but we shared many memories of Topper which gave comfort to Todd as well as myself. I look forward to the day when we can reunite in Heaven and celebrate for all of eternity. Love you Todd!

My best wishes to Tammy and family. I worked with Todd for all of the 26 Years at Ametek.
He was one of the best to work with every day. We had many times to talk about anything and everything. I WILL miss him..

Many thanks to Bob and the staff of Draeger-Langendorf. This has been the hardest of times in my families lives and you were very attentive and helpful with all that needed to be done. The tribute that you created for my mother was beautiful and I shall not forget it. God bless all of you.
