Trisha Ann McMillian

Jul 24, 1964 – Feb 17, 2008

Racine Trisha A. McMillian, 43, was called Home by her Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 17, 2008. She was born in Tyronza, AR on July 24, 1964 the daughter of Jake and Willie Mae (nee: Smith) McMillian. Trisha was a member of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Giovanni and Jasmine McMillian both of Racine; granddaughter Laniyah Nicole Hill; her mother, Willie Mae McMillian of Racine; father, Jake McMillian of Milwaukee; 10 brothers and sisters, Hattie (Rev. Larry) Jackson of Racine, Mary (Willie) Weaver of Milwaukee, Willie McMillian, Jake (Debra) McMillian all of Racine, Helen McMillian, Barbara (Craig) Grimes, Ronnie George McMillian all of Toledo, OH, Geneva (Rev. Donald) Hogan of Madison, WI, Danny McMillian of Racine and Martin McMillian of Toledo, OH, aunts and uncles David McMillian, Easu and Willie Mae McMillian, Elijah McMillian, Zella Gladney, Gertrude and Grover Bond, Sarah Watson; and special friend Delancy Mullen. Her nieces, nephews other relatives and friends further survive her. Her Homegoing Service will be held in the Shiloh Cathedral, 1737 Center St., on Friday February 22nd, at 12:00 Noon, with her brother-in-law Rev. Larry Jackson officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park.

    I remember Trisha growing up and she was so funny and fun to be around. Although she was only a few years older than I was she tried to boss me around like she was my mother and listened. 🙂 She was beautiful inside and out. R.I.P.
