In addition to her parents and husband, Vollie was preceded in death by her sister, Ingrid (Erling) Hovland; brothers-in-law, Fritchjof Engh and Alfred Knudson; and sister-in-law, Carol (Chester) DeYoung. Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 10:00 am in Atonement Lutheran Church, 2915 Wright Ave., with Rev. Denise Mbise officiating. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9-10 am. In memory of Vollie, memorials may be made to Atonement Lutheran Church or to Vitas Hospice. A special note of thanks to caring staffs at Vitas Hospice and Wheaton Franciscan- St. Mary’s 2C for providing compassionate end-of-life care to our Mom and Grandma. God bless all of you!

Testimonials

May 24, 2018

Our family wants to thank Mike and the staff of Draeger-Langendorf for their compassion and caring in the death of our mother. They attended to every detail with such professionalism and made this difficult time so much easier by unburdening us of all that needs to be done with the arrangements. We all felt that there was nothing more they could have been done. It was perfect. We can now go forward with the memories that we hold in our hearts of mom and know that we provided the best possible service by choosing Draeger-Langendorf.
