Victor M. Rodriguez Sr.

Jul 28, 1931 – Jan 15, 2008

Victor M. Rodriguez Sr., 76, passed away in Wheaton Franciscan Hospital- All Saints on Tuesday, January 15, 2008. He was born in Cotulla, TX on July 28, 1931, the son of the late Reynaldo and Josepha (Nee: Martinez) Rodriguez. On May 29, 1955, in Cotulla, TX, he was united in marriage to the former Amparo Zamora. Mr. Rodriguez had been employed by Young Radiator Company. Before becoming to ill to continue, Mr. Rodriguez was well known for his exquisite flower gardens. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Surviving are his devoted wife, Amparo; their children, Marta Rodriguez, Rosemary (John) Ekstowicz, Victor (Michelle) Rodriguez Jr., and Paul Rodriguez; 10 grandchildren, Oscar, Michael, Danny, Nicholas, Bryan, Lucas, Brandyn, Lauryn, Hannah and Heather; 4 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 3 sisters, Chon Rodriguez and Raul Rodriguez both of Cotulla, TX, Mage Chavez and Carolina Rios both of Milwaukee, and Rosa Mareno of Sturtevant; brother-in-law Alfredo Zamora of Cotulla, TX; special nephew, whom he raised, Eliberto (Elvira) Rodriguez of Mukwonago, WI.; other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Guadalupe Zamora. His Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Saturday, January 19th, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. William J. Dietzler officiating. Relatives and friends can meet with the family from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Service. Memorials can be directed to the family to be used at a later date. The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Wheaton Franciscan Hospital-All Saints Campus for the care and compassion shown to Victor and the entire family during his final stay there.
