Racine- Walter B. Moore, 96, was born into Eternal Life on Palm Sunday, April 1, 2007. He was born on August 1, 1910 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Walter and Avery (nee: Hill) Moore. An extremely tireless gentleman with a profound work ethic, Walter had been employed by Hass Metal Parts for many years. He also owned and operated W.B. Moore and Sons Plumbing and Electrical Service. A strong believer in Jesus Christ, Walter accepted Jesus late in life and continued to call on Him until he took his last breath. Walter was proud of his home, including the several acres of land, of which he enjoyed gardening and tending to. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Walter was also a diehard Chicago Cubs fan, once even traveling by train to Arizona to watch spring training. He lived life to the fullest and was even known to occasionally enjoy his pipe or a pinch of snuff. Above all, he loved and cherished being in the surroundings of his entire family. Walter will be missed by the many lives he touched in his 96 years of life. Surviving are his daughter, Bonnie Blakemore-Surney; grandchildren, Kenneth Blakemore, Walter K. (Kesha) Moore, Kelly Blakemore and LaTasha Surney; great-grandchildren, Justin, Adonis and Delecia Blakemore; Imani, Mia, and Walter K.
