Warren A. Wagner, Sr.

RACINE – (Formerly of West Allis) – Mr. Warren A. Wagner, Sr., 76, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center on Tuesday, September 23, 2014.

He was born in Wauwatosa on May 13, 1938, the son of the late Russell Anson and Bernice Margaret (nee: Smith) Wagner.  He graduated from Pulaski High School and served in the US Marine Corps from 1955-58.   On February 2, 2002, he married Geraldine Marie Baboshek.

Mr. Wagner worked as an electrician for Pillar Corporation.  He also worked for the Milwaukee Auto Auction. 

Mr. Wagner was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman.  He loved hunting, fishing and camping.  He especially enjoyed his time spent with the Aroamers Camping Club.

He is survived by his wife, Gerry of Racine; his children, Margaret Wagner of Taylors Falls, MN, Warren (Maureen) Wagner, Jr. of Westminster, CA, Valerie Dawson of Manteca, CA, Lisa (Gary) Ayala of Tumwater, WA, Scott Wagner of Poynette, WI; his step-children, Doug Edmonston of Racine, Mishelle Sienko of Kenosha, Scott (Monica) Edmonston of Cottage Grove, Lisa (Dale) Engwall and Kristin Wnuk both of West Allis.   He is further survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; his sister-in-law, JoAnne (Stephen) Wagner of Milwaukee and his niece, Christine (Mark) Schuster of Oak Creek.

Mr. Wagner was also preceded in death by his brothers and sister, Russell Wagner, Jr., Donald Wagner, Carol Session and by his daughter-in-law, Cheryl Komas.

Family and friends are invited to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 9:30-10:30 am for a visitation and time to meet with his family.  A service celebrating and honoring his life will follow at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. His interment will take place afterward at West Lawn Memorial Park.
