
William O. Mousseau, 70, passed away in the Hope Health and Rehab Center in Lomira on Tuesday, August 11, 2009. He was born in Racine on December 14, 1938 the son of the late Omer and Mary (nee: McCarthy) Mousseau. Bill served his country with the United States Marine Corps and was discharged in 1961. On May 19, 1962, in St. Edward Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to the former Janis Katherine Dunk who preceded him in death on March 11, 2002. Bill had been employed by the Journal Times and later retired from Insinkerator in 2001. He was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing cards watching the Packers and was a ravenous reader of newspapers. His greatest love was the time spent with his family. Surviving are his children, Theresa (Rusty) Birkholz, William (Tonya) Mousseau, Jennifer (Dean) Anes all of Racine, Jacqueline (Patrick) Zurawski of Theresa, WI; 8 grandchildren, Danielle, Rusty II, Zachary, Jeffrey, Taylor, Ryan, Katie and Sam; brother Dan (Evelyn) Mousseau of Racine, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Gene (Judy) Dunk in Florida, Judy (Bob) Tinnen of Kenosha, and Jim Dunk of Racine; special friends Bruce and Sue Sargent of Racine. His nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive Bill. In addition to his parents and his beloved wife, Bill was preceded in death by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Elaine Mousseau, Thomas Dunk, Joann Larson, and Lee and Jean Dunk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in St. Edward Catholic Church, 15th and Grove Ave. on Monday, August 17th , with Rev. Allen Bratkowski officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Monday, from 10:00 until the time of the Mass. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Hope Health and Rehab Center for the compassionate care given Bill and his family.
