Our History

A Tradition of Service Since 1928

Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home traces its roots to 1928, when brothers William and Walter Draeger opened their funeral home to serve the Racine community. From the beginning, they set high standards for professionalism, compassion, and ethical service—values that earned the trust and respect of generations of local families.

William’s sons, Marty and Jerry Draeger, later continued the work their father began, maintaining the same dedication to thoughtful care and personal attention for every family they served.

Beginning in 1972, the Langendorf family became closely associated with the funeral home, helping continue the long-standing tradition of service in the Racine area. Over the years, Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home grew while remaining committed to the principles that guided its founders: professionalism, compassion, and respect for every family.

Today, Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home continues to build on that legacy, serving families throughout Southeast Wisconsin with experienced funeral professionals and a continued commitment to meaningful and dignified service.
