Floyd was employed at Western Publishing, retiring in 1986. He also owned Precision Welding for many years. He was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church, the American Legion #494 and the VFW #10388. With a great appreciation for the outdoors, Floyd enjoyed family vacations at a cottage in Sayner every year.  He was also an avid golfer, bowler and hunter. Interment, with military honors, will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00-11:30 am. In memory of Floyd, memorials to Grace Lutheran Church in Racine or the American Legion Post #494 in Franksville have been suggested.

A special note of thanks to Dr. Carlynn Crevier and her Nurse Carrie of Wheaton Franciscan for the compassionate care and support extended to our Dad.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

After the passing of our loved one, the time came to make the arrangements for his funeral and we couldn’t have asked for anyone more kind and caring as Mark was. He picked up on all the little details and things we held close to our hearts and made the celebration of this wonderful man’s life very special. Even playing taps along with the honor guard, Mark we can’t thank you enough…our heartfelt thanks go out to you and the staff.
Sincerely, THE GENE GRABHER FAMILY

Linda
