Roger Wayne Cagle

Roger Wayne Cagle, 75, passed away at WFH All Saints Hospital on Monday, September 30, 2013. He was born in Racine on February 9, 1938, son of the late Emil and Muriel (nee: Hansen) Cagle. Roger was raised in Woodruff, and following his high school graduation he enlisted into the Air Force on June 14, 1956. After the Air Force he returned to Racine where he began working at JI Case.  On January 6, 1969 he was married to Carolyn S. Byrne. She preceded him in death on April 17, 2011.

Roger was a big Packers fan and an avid NASA enthusiast. He also enjoyed fishing and camping, researching his family history, and genealogy.

Roger is survived by his children, Christine Cagle of Racine, Mark (Michelle McMullen) Cagle of Merrill, WI, Scott (Trisha) Cagle of Phoenix, AZ, and Shannon (Andrew Vance) Cagle of Sturtevant; grandchildren, Tevin and Teren Cagle, Nicole and Breann Cagle, Daniel Cooper, Dominic Cagle, Myla, Colin, Carson, and Colton Cagle, and Jessica Neimi; brothers Donald (Susie) Cagle of Boulder Junction, David (Pamela) Cagle of Sun Prairie, Johnny Cagle of Miami, Florida, and Billy Cagle of Daytona Beach, Florida; his cousin and best friend, Donny Carpenter of Racine; as well as other relatives and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather in the funeral home on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. for a time to pay respects and visit with the family.  Interment and military honors will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
