Charles Elmer Law

Union Grove – Charles Elmer Law, 91, formerly of Wind Lake passed away at WFH All Saints Hospital on Saturday, October 26, 2013. He was born in Stevens Point on August 30, 1922, son of the late George and Kathryn (nee: Lampman) Law. Chuck served with pride in the Army Medical Corps during WWII. On June 21, 1946 he was married to Isabelle Sharpe in the Racine First Presbyterian Church.

Chuck worked 36 years at Wisconsin Electric Power Company as a senior instrument technician before retiring in 1984. He also enjoyed square dancing, camping, and owned Chanticlear Antiques and a CB shop from 1964 – 1972. He was a man of many talents, which included wood carving of birds and doll house furniture, caning chairs, and even teaching the art of caning to others, jewelry making, and gardening

Chuck is survived by his dear wife, Isabelle; their children Diana Beaulieu of Sturtevant, Linda (Don) Stephenson of Franksville, and Paul (Karen) Law of Mukwonago; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and was looking forward to the arrival of the 13th. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Sheila Law; son-in-law Gerald Beaulieu; and brother Richard B. Law.

Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, October 31st from 10am – 11am. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Interment and military honors will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials to The Wisconsin Humane Society have been suggested.
