Allan J. Kleimola

    Allan J. Kleimola, 68, passed away in the Hospice House of Racine on Friday, April 24, 2015. He was born in Bessemer, MI on December 28, 1946 the son of the late Waino and Lempi (nee: Erickson) Kleimola.
     On January 18, 1969, in the First Presbyterian Church, here in Racine, he was united in marriage to the former Karen Richards. Allan had been employed by Jonco Tool, Acme Die Casting, and Petersen Machine.  Allan worked at Acme Die Casting for over 20 years, where he served as plant supervisor. Allan enjoyed fishing, riding his Kawasaki and scooter, watching T.V., talking to his brothers and sisters on the phone, and playing Texas hold-em poker. He also hung out with his best friend, and brother-in-law, Donnie Olsen.
     Surviving are his wife, Karen; their daughters, Kelly (Rob) Bohlman, and Shelly (Steve) Andersen, all of Racine; five grandchildren, Monika Jones, Amanda Jones-Garner, Kristina Jones, Jason Allan Bohlman, and Jacob Robert Bohlman; 1 great-grandson, Colton Garner; four brothers, Robert Kleimola, of Ironwood, MI; Waino (Betty ) Kleimola, of Racine; Edward ( Virginia ) Kleimola, of Ironwood, MI; Francis ( Barbara ) Kleimola, of Highland, IN; and three sisters; Greta Ellsworth,  Gladys (Richard) Ellsworth, all of Washington, and Lempi (Richard) Poulin, of North Richland Hills. TX;  three brothers-in-law, William “Bobo” Mukavitz of Ironwood, MI, Tom Richards, of Kenosha, and Don Olsen, of Racine; three sisters-in-law, Nella Kleimola, of NV, Betty (Bill) Croft, of CA, and Jeanette Olsen, of Racine.  Many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.
      In addition to his parents, Allan was also preceded in death by brothers, William Kleimola and Howard Kleimola, who was an infant, sisters Barbara Murkavitz and Helena Kleimola, who was an infant; sister-in-law, Beatrice Kleimola, and brother-in-law, Don Ellsworth. In keeping with Allan’s wish, a private services was held.
