Racine – Michael David Hardy, Sr., 41, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 19, 2016.  He was born in Racine on June 28, 1974, son of James Allen Hardy and Pamela Jean (nee: Castroreale) Smith.

Mike graduated from Park High School in 1992.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  He was a volunteer at Harvest Outreach in Racine.

Mike leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Michael David Hardy, Jr; mother, Pam Smith; father, Jim Hardy; brother, Charlie (Stephanie) Hardy; sister, Julie (Joey) Thompson; niece, Kaytlin Stich; nephews, Sean Hardy, Sammie Hardy, Jaykob Thompson; other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Pam: We were good friends in high scool. I am a city bus driver now and I frequently had your son on my bus. He was a very nice guy he always told me I was his favorite driver. I never knew he was your son! This world is too small. I wish I would have known. He was a very polite and all around good person. My prayers are with you.

Michael was a good man. My heart hurts for my son in the loss of his father. Heaven has gained another angel!

Thank you!

I’d like to thank Brian Langendorf and staff for putting on a great memorial and celebration of life service for my mom. We received great feedback from our family and friends. My dad was especially appreciative on how it went and was very happy with the result. Thank you!!
