Louise was born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin on August 17th, 1924 to George and Louise Foley. She attended Park High School and joined the Army shortly after leaving school.  Through the Army, she met her husband, Carl. They Married in 1947 and after raising a family of four children, Louise and Carl settled in Cedarburg, Wisconsin – which turned out to be the most beloved place in their hearts. Louise was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and Season Ticket holder and taught Carl about football while he taught her about cooking. She passed away just days before what would have been their 69th wedding anniversary.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl; parents, Louise and George; siblings, George, Anna Mae, Agnes Marie, Evie (Vern), Jimmy; and daughter in Law, Rosemary.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Mike (Sharon), Kathy, Mary Lou, Rick (Marilyn); grandchildren, Tamara, Michelle, Andy (Erica), Paul (Shalen), Ryan, Shari (Scott) ; great-grandchildren, Ira, Maggie, Riley, Sarah, Lucy, Charlotte, Noah, Ellie Mae and Ian; and youngest brother, Patrick Foley.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Larry Larsen, Compassionate Care, specifically, Lynne and Santrice, and to all of the caregivers, aides and social workers who dedicated their time to care for our Louise in her last moments.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Honor Flight Network would be appreciated.

There will be a visitation from 4-7 pm on Thursday, April 14th at Drager-Langendorf Funeral Home; 4600 County Line Rd; Racine, Wi 53403. There will be a Catholic Mass at 10:30am on Friday, April 15th at Siena Center; 5635 Erie Street; Racine, Wi 53402 with visitation beginning at 9:30am.  Mass will be followed by Christian Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery with full military honors.

“May the road rise up to meet you.  May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields.  And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.”
