
Ronald W. Johnson Sr., 59, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, August 21, 2009, with his family at his side. He was born in Waukegan, IL on February 18, 1950 the son of the late Clayton and Dorothy (nee: Oglesby) Johnson. On September 4, 1971, in the First Methodist Church in Kenosha, he was united in marriage to the former Linda Ortiz. Ron owned and operated Ron Johnson Auto Body. He always had a passion for working on cars. Surviving are his devoted wife Linda; their sons, Ronald W. Johnson Jr. of Racine, and Mike Johnson of Sturtevant; brothers, Clayton Johnson Jr. and Jerald Johnson both of Kenosha, and Robert (Bonnie) Johnson of Pahrump, NV; sister-in-law Jacqueline Johnson of Kenosha; and mother-in-law, Lydia Ortiz of Racine. His nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive him. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Larry W. Johnson. His funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, August 25th at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park on Wednesday, August 26th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers contribution can be directed to the family to establish a memorial at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Mullane, his staff, a well as the entire staff of Hospice Alliance.
