Racine – Sister Marika Renee Jennings, 75, passed away at WFH – St. Joseph’s Hospital on Saturday, June 5, 2010. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 19, 1934, daughter of the late Bill and Sammy Tyson. At an early age, she and her family moved to Racine. She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Attiyya (Jalal) Nuruddin of Milwaukee, Kyra Ahmad, and Kelly Goines both of Racine; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and her cousin, Jacqueline Gaither of Arizona; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband and the father of her children, Harold Foxie, and her 2nd husband, John F. Jennings.
