Scott N. Sorensen

Mar 2, 1961 – Jun 14, 2010

Racine- Scott N. Sorensen, 49, passed away at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha on Monday, June 14, 2010. Scott was born in Minneapolis, MN on March 2, 1961 to the late Donald M. and Dolores “Dee” (nee: Mendence) Sorensen. After attending JI Case High School, he enjoyed working at Hardee’s and Pick-N-Save. Among his interests, he was passionate about music and motorcycles. Tragically, Scott was involved in a serious motorcycle accident on July 8, 1994. Since the accident, he has been a resident of the Alpha Home in Kenosha. Surviving are his son, Josh Hannett; brother, Wayne (Lisa) Sorensen; half-sister, Yolanda (Vern) Kopecky; many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name. In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his half-brother, Steve Villarreal. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of West Lawn Memorial Park, 9000 Washington Avenue. Family and friends are invited to gather at the chapel on Friday beginning at 1:30 pm.
