Donna Lee Beauchamp

Oct 8, 1944 – Sep 13, 2010

Donna Lee Beauchamp, 65, died at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie on Monday, September 13, 2010.

She was born in Racine on October 8, 1944 to the late Henry and Florence (nee: Bushell) Beauchamp.  She graduated from St. Catherine’s High School in 1962.

Donna lived most of her adult life in Dayton, OH where she worked as a Configuration Management Specialist for Wright Patterson Air Force Base. She moved back to Racine in 2002 to care for her mother.

Donna loved life and enjoyed dancing and bowling. She also enjoyed attending mass at St. Edward Catholic Church.

Her survivors include her brothers, Kenneth (Vicky) Beauchamp of Racine, David (Lany) Beauchamp of Ocala, FL., Robert (Yoko) Beauchamp of Milwaukee; sister-in-law, Elizabeth “Betty” Beauchamp of Milwaukee; brother-in-law, Frank Herrera of California; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brother, William Beauchamp and sister, Blanche Herrera.

Donna’s life and mass will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (6400 Spring St.) on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. William Dietzler officiating.  The mass is being held at St. Paul’s because there is another funeral scheduled at St. Edward’s on Saturday.  Her interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.   There will be a visitation at St. Paul the Apostle on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.  Memorials have been suggested to St. Edward Catholic Church and Hospice Alliance.

The Beauchamp family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Syed Haider and his entire staff, Hospice Alliance and Hospice House and the many friends; especially, Deana Hawes, for the loving care that was provided to Donna during her illness.
