
Kenosha—Richard B. Horton, 46, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, September 29, 2010. He was born in Kenosha on May 14, 1964 to William LaFleur and Linda (nee: Johnson) Horton. Rich graduated from Bradford High School and Gateway Technical College. He was a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church. Rich had been employed by Great Lakes Dragaway (starting at age 14), Western Publishing and Beere Medical. He was a master of Dungeons & Dragons, avid fisherman, Green Bay Packer fan, and enjoyed going to the Renaissance Faire. Surviving are his mother, Linda Horton; sister, Kristine (Randy) Brittich; brothers, John (Rhonda) Horton and Steve Horton; half-sister, Michelle (nee: LaFleur) Echolles; nephews, Robert, John Jr., and Dakota; and aunt, Marilyn Schumacher. In accordance with Rich’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church, 2001 – 80th Street, in Kenosha. Visitation will be in the church on Wednesday from 2-4 pm.

So sorry to hear of Richards passing, I hope I can skip out of work long enough to stop and pay my respects on Wednesday. He was such a good man, he will be missed by all who knew him!
