MaryAnn retired from Multi-Products after 20 years of service.  Prior to that, she was employed by Motor Specialty.

A devout Catholic, MaryAnn attended mass daily at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. In addition to her faith, her life was centered by her family; especially her grandsons.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anna (David) Abrego; grandsons, Nicholas and Christian Abrego; brother and sisters, David Schaefer, Charlotte Weidner, Nancy Padgett all of Racine, Bernice Moore of Schofield, WI; as well many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and dear friends.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, (twin) Walter Schaefer, Jr., John and Daniel Schaefer.

Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (6400 Spring St.) on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. for the celebration of MaryAnn’s life and funeral mass with Rev. William Dietzler officiating.  There will be a visitation at the church from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.  A private interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum in Caledonia.

A very special thank to Heather Graham as well as the entire staff at Willowcrest Care Center for the loving attention that was to provided to MaryAnn while her health was declining.
