
Racine- Greg Anthony Ralph, 50, passed away at Kindred Hospital in Milwaukee on Thursday, February 17, 2011 from complications of congestive heart failure.
Greg was born in Kenosha on November 10, 1960 to Edwin and Dolores “Dorothy” (nee: Sepanski) Ralph. He was a proud graduate of Gateway Technical College.
During his career, Greg enjoyed working at the Elks’ Club in Kenosha and DePelecyn Tool and Die Co. in Racine. Catholic by faith, he attended St. Casimir Church in Kenosha and St. Lucy Church in Racine. Among his interests, he enjoyed fishing; watching comedy – especially The Three Stooges; and, above all, he loved being a dad and spending time with his beloved daughter, Katie.
Surviving are his former wife, Colleen (nee: Bayer) Ralph; their daughter, Katie Lynne Ralph; dear mother, Dorothy Ralph; brother, Ronald (Shari) Ralph; sisters, Linda Mercer, Karen Ralph and Kristine Ralph; nieces, Megan and Saryna Mercer; nephew, Brandon Lundy; great-niece, Cloe Lester; sister-in-law, Lynn Bayer; other special relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Ralph; sister, Paula Sjolander; brother, Larry Ralph; infant brother, Joseph; infant sister, Laura; niece, Stephanie Lundy; and by Colleen’s parents, Clarence and Jocelyn Bayer.
A memorial service celebrating Greg’s life will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 7:00 pm with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-7 pm. In accordance with Greg’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will be at St. Casimir Cemetery (3308 – 47thStreetin Kenosha) on Wednesday at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association has been suggested.
