Annie Mae Oliver

Sep 5, 1923 – Oct 3, 2011

   Annie Mae Oliver, 88, passed away at United Hospital System in Kenosha on Monday, October 3, 2011.

   She was born in Hillsboro, Alabama on September 5, 1923, the daughter of Albert and Mary Lee (nee: Bates) Hill.  On November 6, 1968 she married Alonzo “Priest” Oliver in Waukegan, IL.  He preceded her in death on March 4, 2000. 

   Annie Mae enjoyed playing cards and spending time in the presence of her family.

   Her survivors include her children, Craig (Gladys) Oliver, and Valerie Oliver both of Racine, Ricky (Michele) Oliver of Boston, MA; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; her brother, Andrew (Georgia) Hill of Racine. She is also survived by; special nephew and niece, Dylan (Sherma) Clark of Milwaukee, WI, and Alberta Fowlkes of Cleveland, OH; special friend and caretaker, Dorothy Bizzle.  Annie Mae is further survived by a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katherine Louise; two grandchildren, Daryl Oliver, and Keosha C. N. Oliver; brother and sister, George Hill and Millie Odel Clark.

    Family and friends are invited to meet at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. for the celebration on Annie Mae’s life and Homegoing. There will not be a viewing but there will be time to meet with the family on Monday from 10-11 a.m.
