Donnasia Renee Jackson

Aug 1, 2009 – Oct 20, 2011

Donnasia R. Jackson, 2 years old, prematurely left us on Thursday, October 20, 2011 and now plays safely in the arms of God.

She was born to Cheyenna White and Deone Holland on August 1, 2009 in Racine.

Donnasia attended XCite Childcare Center where she was described as sweet, happy, and precious.  She loved music, dancing, and was fascinated by musical instruments.  She was always excited and happy to be at NaNa’s and PawPaw’s house.  Donnasia possessed an “old soul” as if she had been here before.

Left to cherish precious memories of Donnasia are her parents, Cheyenna White and Deone Holland; sister, Da’Nieya Jackson; brother, Ladamian Jackson and their father, Donnie Jackson, Jr. who was a special part of her life; grandparents, Jeanette (Wayne) Morris, Eric Gilbert, Eileen (Demetrius) Holland and Jeffery (Karen) Hadley; special uncle, Samuel (Shatanya) White; uncles, Kendell, Codarro, Wayne Morris, III; aunt, Erica Gilbert and many other loving relatives and friends.

Donnasia was preceded in death by her great-great grandmother, Sarah Canady; great uncles, Glen Canady and Tommy Stewart; and cousins, Markey Canady, Ronnise Penny, Jamaal Stanciel, and Carolyn Boykins .

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Donnasia at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church (1120 Grand Ave.) on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Lawrence L. Kirby officiating.  Her interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.  There will be a visitation in the church on Monday from 10-11 a.m.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

We want to thank Mike for the kindness and special attention he gave us for our mother. Marcella Conley. He came in the middle of the night himself to pick her up and take her to the funeral home. For the things that had to be taken care of, he told us not to worry; that it would be taken care of by him. Thank you also Mike for singing at her funeral, especially her favorite song, Amazing Grace. Thank you and all of your staff at Draeger-Langendorf.

Joan Schrader and family
