Lois J. Kraus

Apr 11, 1934 – Nov 16, 2011

Lois J. Kraus, 77, passed away in Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, in Milwaukee, on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Lois was born in Milwaukee on April 11, 1934 the daughter of the late Harold and Irene (nee; Heinzen) Petrus.  
                                                                          
Lois attended UWM and graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. On September 20, 1958, in St. John Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa, she was united in marriage to Rev. Thomas Kraus. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, in Slades Corners, the Lois Club of Kenosha County, the Young at Heart Group, the Ladies Guilds, and the Paddock Lake Morning Coffee Group.

Surviving are her husband, Rev. Thomas Kraus; their children, Miriam (Dale) Brege, of Grangeville, ID, Andrew (Constance) Kraus, of Gays Mills, WI, George Kraus, of Wauwatosa, Phillip (Annette) Kraus, of Kenosha, Amy (Brian) Eckblad, of Grand Blanc, MI, Kari (Sara) Kraus, of Laguna Hills, CA, and Karl (Colleen) Kraus of Basking Ridge, NJ; grandchildren, Shawn Kraus, Zackary Eckblad, Leah (Kraus) Shurman, Rachel Eckblad, Rebecca Eckblad, Shannon Kraus, and Alex Kraus; and her cousins, Darrell Heinzen, Anene Heinzen.

Her funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 20th, at 3:30 p.m. in St. John Lutheran Church 39506-60thSt., Slades Corners. The visitation will in the church on Sunday, from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
