Norby and Brian (Denise) Norby; dear friends, Bobbi (Gregory) Freiheit, Lynn Simon and Jenny Erickson; German Shepherd, Mitzie; cat, Fat Mama; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention all by name.In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Vinson.
Funeral Services will be in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 7:00 pm. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5-7 pm. In accordance with her wishes, Mary will be cremated following the services. In memory of Mary, all attending the services are invited to wear their favorite leather / motorcycle attire.

To my Mimi,
I am so privileged to have called you my friend. So many called you by so many different names, Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Scary, Mary, Midget, but you left the privilege of Mimi to me and my family always. All because a tiny little girl who you loved like your own named Heidi, couldn۪t pronounce Mary properly. The name stuck with you from that moment on.
You sometimes felt that you weren۪t appreciated or not good enough because you never finished school, but you were so much more to me, and my family, than you ever knew.
You were never sure that you would get a second chance at love, but I wanted to remind you that with Mark you found it. You have a beautiful family, full of daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, Grandchildren, in-laws and friends which is what were seeking for so long. You reached your goal; you had the family you always wanted to be a part of.
Today I want to celebrate you and tell you and tell you all that you taught me and how truly important and creative that you really were.
You taught me to see strength in situations when I saw adversity.
You taught me to see art in tattoos when I saw ink.
You taught me there was beauty in rooms when I saw nothing.
You taught me there was value in rummage sales when I saw sore feet.
You taught me you could do anything with your two hands when I saw calluses.
You taught me that nothing could hold you down from raising your children when everything seemed to be stacked against you.
You taught me that you didn۪t need money to be rich.
You taught me that when you۪re down and out and have nothing left to give, you get back up and fight your way back.
You taught me how to forgive the small things.
You taught me to love unconditionally.
You taught me to me that friendship is everlasting.
And you taught me about loyalty.
I love you always and will have an empty place in my life where you belong.
Always your friend,
Bobbi

You have been a big part of my life and my family’s life for more than 30 years. There is a big empty space where you left. We will cherish all the memories you left us with.

To Mimi,
I have so much to say,but I am speechless. I never thought in my life, I would have to say to you “rest in peace my friend”. You have been a friend, a mother to my children, but mostly a best friend to my wife. You have touched so many people in your life, and so many people loved you for who you were. I can’t imagine the heartbreak, your Mark feels, because my heart is so broken knowing you are gone. Even though you aren’t here, you will forever be with us in our hearts, spirits and memories til once agian we will be together. Give a big hug to all we have lost before you. Know my heart breaks and I will love and miss you.
GRADY!!!!!!!
