Charlie George Jones

Sep 30, 1946 – Dec 20, 2011

  Mr. Charlie G. Jones, 65, (formerly of Enterprise, MS) passed away at Hospitality Nursing Home and Rehab Center in Kenosha on Tuesday, December 20, 2011.

   He was born in Enterprise, MS on September 30, 1946, the son of Angie Jones and Robert Williams.  He moved to Racine six years ago so that his family could care for him.

   While living in Racine he attended his sons’ church, Shekinah Glory Ministries which meets at St. Andrew Church in Racine.

   He is survived by Bettye Jones; his sons, Bishop Charles (Ann) Jones, Kevin (Candise) Jones, Jeff (Alexis) Jones all of Racine; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Rose, Edith, Willie Jean, Doris Roberta, Harriet Denise, Mary Florence, Doris Fay, Hattie May, Rose Marie, Roosevelt “Sonny” and Patricia; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Gregory White, Darrell White, Debra White; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends at Trinity Terrace, where he lived.  In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his great grandson, Julius Jones Morones; sister, Irma Ruth; brother, Eddie James and brother-in-law, Larry White.

   The celebration of his funeral and Homegoing will take place in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with his son, Bishop Charles Jones officiating.  There will be as visitation in the funeral home on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m.  A private interment will take place in their family cemetery in Mississippi at a later date.
