Ella Beth

Feb 1, 1935 – Mar 5, 2012

   Mrs. Ella Beth, 77, passed away Lincoln Village Convalescent Center on Monday, March 5, 2012.

   She was born in Sacramento, CA on February 1, 1935 to the late J.B. and Hessie (nee: Scott) Hutchins.  On December 31, 1951 she married Edward A. Beth in Portales, NM.  He preceded her in death on May 14, 1997.  

   Mrs. Beth worked over 20 years for Lincoln Lutheran Home as a nurse’s aide.  She enjoyed attending Fellowship Baptist Church and was especially fond of singing church hymns.  Mrs. Beth also looked forward to playing Bingo and being in the company of her family.

   Her survivors include her seven children, Edward Beth of San Diego, Loretta Sue (Ray) Wolf of Mount Pleasant, Chuck Beth of Racine, Patricia Lofquist of Necedah, WI, Robert (Vickie) Beth of Wasilla, AK, Joseph Beth of Tampa, FL, Gloria Beth of Racine; her nine grandchildren, Todd, Stacey, Theresa, Tracey, Steven, Crystal, Amber, Laura and Sarah; her four great grandchildren, Natalee, Desi, Lily, Nora, Brett and Steve, Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, Jackie Beth and Ardie Beth both of Racine.  In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Beth was preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua Beth.

   Family and friends are invited to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, March, 8, 2012 at noon for the celebration of Ella’s life and funeral service with Pastor Edward Fuller Officiating.  Her interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.  There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until noon.  Memorials have been suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.

  A very heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Lincoln Village Convalescent Center for enhancing Ella’s quality of life while under their care.  The family sincerely appreciates everything you have done.
