Michael Quinn Henderson

Jun 16, 1968 – Mar 10, 2012

     Michael Quinn Henderson, 43, was called Home by his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 10, 2012.

Michael was born in Chicago, IL on June 16, 1968, the son of Michael L. and Linda (nee: Darby) Henderson.

     Michael was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Vincent High School and M.A.T.C. He became a Master Barber while working in Milwaukee.  On October 21, 2001, here in Racine, Michael was united in marriage to the former LaShawna Campbell. Michael and his family moved to Atlanta, GA where he became “Barber to the Stars”.

     Surviving are his wife LaShawna; his children, Mychael Henderson, of Milwaukee, MyKeshia Davis, of Morganfield, KY, Brianne Campbell,  Mycah Henderson, Mylan Henderson, and Lyric Henderson, all of Newnan, GA; grandchildren, Kai Daley and Zadrien Petty; father, Michael Lee Henderson, of Chicago; mother and step-father, Linda (Lionel) Headley, of Ocala, FL; brothers, Kenneth Henderson, of Ocala, FL, Phillip (Kathleen) Henderson, of Inver Grove, MN, Larrick Robinson, of Milwaukee, Darrick Robinson, of Ocala, FL; sisters, Sylvia White,  and Laura White, both of Chicago, IL; aunts, Martha Lanier, of Milwaukee, and Vanessa Patton, of Wildersville, TN; and uncle, Edward Henderson, of Chicago, IL. Michael is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his; grandparents, Jerry and Pearl Darby, and Elizabeth Henderson; aunt, Gloria Ross; and uncles, Sherman, Herman, and Vincent Leon Darby.

     His Homegoing Service will be held in the Reconciliation Ministries, 2200 Mt. Pleasant St., on Tuesday, March 20th, at 6:00 p.m., with Pastor Norris Johnson officiating. Visitation will be in the church on Tuesday, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In keeping with Michael’s wishes cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to LaShawna to establish a memorial for the children.
