Bruno Robert Schielzeth

Sep 16, 1949 – Sep 20, 2012

Kenosha – Bruno Robert Schielzeth died September 20th, 2012, just four days after celebrating his 63rd birthday. He was born September 16, 1949 in Gainesville, Florida, the son of Bruno Peter and Naomi (nee: Schnieder) Schielzeth. He attended Yorkville Elementary, and graduated from Union Grove High School in 1964. He earned his Associate Degree in Electronics from Gateway Technical Institute.

Bruno’s aptitude for electronics provided a successful career in the broadcasting industry, and in electronics repair. Bruno had a lifelong interest in military modeling. After he retired he was able to devote more time to his passion and built many exquisite models of planes and ships from WWII. Eventually he started making and critiquing models for Fine Scale Modeler magazine.

Bruno is survived by his children, Ahleena Schielzeth and Joel Schielzeth both of Stoughton; grandchildren, Tiana and Jayden; his mother, Naomi Schleper; and sister Doborah (James) Harvey both of Solon, Iowa. His fiancée Cynthia Pugaczewski of Kenosha; his former wife Bonnie Jo Schielzeth of Stoughton; as well as and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Bruno P. Schielzeth; his son, Eric Charles Schielzeth; and daughter, Penny Janelle Schielzeth.

In keeping with his wishes cremation had taken place. Graveside services will be held at the Yorkville Cemetery (17876 Old Yorkville Road) at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2012. Bruno’s family will host a time for fellowship immediately after at the Yorkville Methodist Church.
