Harold Edward Rosemann

Jan 26, 1915 – Nov 3, 2012

KENOSHA – Mr. Harold E. Rosemann, 97, passed away at St. Joseph’s Home on Saturday, November 3, 2012.

   A lifelong resident of Kenosha, Harold was born on January 26, 1915, the son of the late Otto and Edna (Kleist) Rosemann.  On July 3, 1937, he married Lorraine Desellier at First United Methodist Church.  Lorraine preceded him in death on November 2, 2008.

   Harold worked for Simmons and retired from American Motors in 1976.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was happiest in the presence of his family.

Harold enjoyed gardening, especially his roses.  He also enjoyed fishing, camping, water skiing and snow skiing out West.

   Survivors include his daughters, Marilyn Richter of Kenosha and Suzanne (Marvin) Boyd of Silverthorne, CO; six grandchildren, Keith (Cari) Richter of Kenosha, Kurt (Babette) Richter of Hammonton, NJ, Kevin (Amy) Richter of Edmond, OK, Dawn (Jim) Erickson of Kenosha, Tami (Eric) Eslich of Golden, CO, and Scott (Elizabeth) Boyd of Brown Deer, WI.  He is further survived by fourteen great grandchildren.  Harold was preceded in death by his sisters and brother: Helen Schmidt, Delores Burmeister, and Russell Rosemann.

   Family and friends are invited to meet at First United Methodist Church, 919-60th Street, on Thursday, November 8, 2012, at 11:30am for the funeral service.  Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be in the church on Thursday from 10:00am-11:30am.  Please enter through west door.

   Memorial remembrances to First United Methodist Church or Hospice Alliance would be appreciated.
