
Harriet Consolo, 91, passed away in Creekside Hospice, Las Vegas, on Friday, April 5, 2013. She was born in Kenosha on April 11, 1921, the daughter of the late John and Mary (nee: Fucela) Skromnik. Harriet was a lifetime resident of Kenosha, until moving to Las Vegas to be with her son in October of 2006.
Harriet had been employed by Jockey International for over 38 years until retiring in April of 1987. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. Harriet traveled the world and enjoyed every minute of it.
Surviving are her son, Anders Consolo, of Las Vegas, sister, Joan Sunderland, and sister-in-law, Nancy Seiberlich, both of Pleasant Prairie. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive her. In addition to her parents, John and Mary, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank “Guy” Consolo, on October 11, 1999, brother, Raymond Seiberlich, and brother-in-law, Edward Sunderland Sr.
A memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Mark Catholic Church at a later date.
