I want to express my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Dean. Dean and I dated about 2 1/2 years ago, and we had stayed friends since then. He was such a wonderful person. I cared for him so much, and I can’t believe that he is gone. He loved his kids so very much, he talked about them all of the time – sports, school, anything and everything. I saw Dean two weeks before his passing – he picked up some salsa I brought him back from Austin, Texas. He told me I was a wimp because I couldn’t handle the spicy foods he enjoyed so much. I understand and respect the private memorial service for Dean, but I needed to pay my respect to my friend and to let his family know that he was loved and cared about. I hope he has found his peace, and I will always have a special place in my heart for Dean.

To the Knudtson family. May God strengthen your family and give you peace. Dean and I attended our school years together. Just know that earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. May you all be blessed.

    To my buddy “Deano”,

You are my friend forever, I did not know of your passing until today. The last we spoke was this past year in late June and your laughter is what I will always remember about you, as well as, your love for your children. I have tried many times to contact you since then and only now know why you did not respond. I love you brother and miss the heck of you.

To your family, I want to express my deepest condolences and I’m so sorry I am writing this so late, I really did not know until today.

Dean and I use to joke about building “Knudtsonland” if one of us won the lottery. “Knudtsonland” is a place to rival any amusement park, but, free for all to enjoy.

When I win the lotto it will be built!

    Rest in Peace my brother.

    I love you brother,

    Chris “the Devil” Kobel

Testimonials

October 9, 2020

I would like to thank Mike Langendorf, Bill Althaus and the rest of the staff for the wonderful celebration of the life for my father Raymond L. Szymanski who was a WWII veteran. I especially appreciate how much you really listen and the questions you asked regarding who my father was and what he was all about. Those details showed up in every part of the service from the flowers, the music, the thank you’s, pictures, obituary, outdoor military honors, etc. etc. My father would have been so grateful for the way you honored his life. I also received phone calls from family and friends indicating how beautiful the service was in every way. You and your staff definitely go above and beyond. You treat everyone like family and your compassion is so genuine. There should be more people in the world just like all of you. No words can express our gratitude for all you have done for myself, my father and our family. Thank you so very much and may the Lord bless you and yours! Sincerely Terri Carls and the Szymanski Family
