Racine – Joyce M. Fewless, 81, passed away at WFH All Saints hospital on Saturday, January 18, 2014. She was born May 19, 1932, daughter of the late William and Mabel (nee: Fraid) Munroe. She was a Racine area resident for most of her life. She was married on June 10, 1948 to the love of her life, Robert Fewless, who preceded her in 1996.
Joyce was a special mother and grandmother, she loved being with her family more than anything. Being a military wife for more than 20 years often brought unique challenges, but many rewards as well. She will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Joyce is survived by her children: Cathy Wilkinson of Yorkville, Patricia (Alan) Floyd of Racine, Jeanette (Randy) Dobbs of Richland Center, Sue (Marshall) Reede of Kokomo, Indiana, Donna (John) Benzow, Diana Fewless, Rob (Lori) Fewless all of Racine, Leanne (Scott) Dykstra of Mt. Pleasant, and David (Tammy) Fewless of Racine; 26 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren; as well as her sister: Shirley Ynclan of Racine; brothers: Bill (Paulette) Munroe and Bob (Chris) Munroe both of Kenosha; and sister-in-law Eleanor (Richard) Dubuque. Joyce was also preceded in death by her son-in-law: James Wilkinson; and great-grandson: Christian Reede.
All are invited to visit with the family in the funeral home on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 2pm-4pm. In keeping with Joyce’s wishes, no formal service will be held, and interment will be private.

We will always be grateful to Joyce for our wonderful daughter-in-law, Tiffany, her granddaughter. We know that she had a significant influence on Tiffany, on our grandchildren, and the lives of many others. She will be deeply missed. We pray that God’s comfort will be with all of her family and friends, and we hope that you all have many wonderful memories of Joyce to celebrate her life.
