Scott Michael Ruud

Dec 29, 1971 – Jun 24, 2014

RACINE – Scott M. Ruud, 42, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 24, 2014.

He was born in Racine on December 29, 1971, the son of Wayne and Judith (nee: Kasinski) Ruud.  Scott graduated from JI Case High School.  He had been working for R&B Grinding for the past few years.

Scott was a quiet man with simple pleasures.  He enjoyed watching and cheering for the Brewers.  He was also patriotic and proudly flew an American flag in front of his home.

In addition to his parents, Wayne and Judith Ruud, Scott is survived by his sisters, Laura Martinson and Lisa Ruud; his nieces, Haley and Miranda Martinson all of Racine; his dear friend, Joe Charo and his loving canine companion, Mema.  Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chester and Edna Kasiniski ad Clarence and Viola Ruud.

Family and friends are invited to meet at Epiphany Lutheran Church (2921 Olive St.) on Monday, June 30, 2014 at noon for a service honoring and remembering Scott’s life with Rev. Michael D. Zarling officiating.  There will be a time to meet with his family at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.
