
~~Willie Rose Jennings, age 78, peacefully passed away at WF-All Saints Hospital on July 6, 2014. She was born in Mississippi, on March 12, 1936 to Amelia and Booker T. Alexander.
Willie received her formal education in the Mississippi School System. She eventually relocated to Racine, Wisconsin and worked as a Truck Driver at Western Publishing until she retired.
Auntie Rosie as she was lovingly called by her nieces and nephews. She loved spending time cooking, sewing, bowling and fishing. Her greatest joy was the spending time with her family, whether in the city or country-side.
Willie Rose was preceded in death by her mother; Amelia Alexander, father and stepmother; Booker T. (Fannie Mae) Alexander, siblings; Fronie (Muhsinah Madyun) Gordon, Emma Cook, Henrietta (Aminah Sabir) Chambers, Hazel Nesbitt, James Alexander Bertha Freeman and Earl Berry. She leaves to celebrate her precious memories her special friend; Darryl Kilpatrick, stepchildren; Jessica (Ted) Williams, Aaron and Jessie Irven, Godchildren; Diana King and Warren Jennings Jr, special niece; Diane Taylor, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Jesus Alive Ministries (JAM), 3011 Erie St. at 2pm. Visitation will be held in the church from 1pm until the time of service
