Private internment will take place on December 18, 2020 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Bovey, MN.

Boris Trboyevich, 90, passed away on Sunday, December 06, 2020 at Harbour Village, Greendale WI.

Boris was born in Bovey, Mn. on June 30, 1930 to Dane and Ruzica (nee: Haydukovich) Trboyevich  He proudly served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956 as a Russian interpreter. He then went to the University of Minn. and graduated with a B.A. and B.S. degrees.  After graduation, he taught for the Milwaukee Public School system as a language and social studies teacher for over 28 years, retiring in 1989.  Boris was known by his students as “Mr. T” and was loved by all of his students.

After retiring, Boris enjoyed traveling with friends in the United States and Europe. He was an excellent landscape artist and enjoyed swimming and watching birds.  He volunteered along with special friend Phyllis Browne at the Wehr Nature Center – Milwaukee, Wi. He will be dearly missed by lifelong friends Raymond Dahm, Eugene Cook, Karen Komassa and Jill Klysen. He was a dedicated member of All Saints Cathedral and Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Milwaukee, WI.

Boris was a very kind and caring individual who would always say “thank you” when someone helped him.

Boris was preceded in death by his parents – Dane and Ruzica; four sisters – Donitza, Olga, Zorka, Zlata; and one brother -Alexander. Special thanks to nurse Theresa Nelson at Harbour Village and to his caregivers, Jim and Sheri Bertermann.

Private internment will take place on December 18, 2020 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Bovey, MN. Memorial donations may be made to the Friends of Wehr Nature Center.

    So sorry to hear Boris has left us too. In his later years, he brought much happiness to my mother, Phyllis, and to his many friends, I’m sorry for our loss. To Boris: see you at the end of the line. Love and hugs, Patricia Browne.
