RACINE – Jacqueline D. Reynolds, 60, passed away at her residence unexpectedly on Friday, April 1, 2022.

The gift of life is a blessing because it comes from God; however there is a beginning and an end to everything. Jacqueline D. Streeter was a beloved mother, sister, aunt and a true woman of God. Jacqueline D. Reynolds was suddenly called home on Friday April 1, 2022 at her residence. Jacqueline was the second daughter and was born July 13, 1961 to the parents William Henry III and Lela Streeter (Hamilton) in Kenosha WI.

After graduating from Washington Park High School, Jackie went on to study Cosmetology as well as Accounting and Financial Management. Over the years, Jackie had an amazing career that first started in Customer Service at Shopko, and was later employed at North Shore Bank for 13 years as a Personal Banker. She was also the owner and operator of Special Touch Childcare.  Additionally, Jackie was a substitute teacher for Kenosha Unified School District.  Jackie served her community in many ways. She brought a personal perspective to the anti-violence group. Jackie also loved to encourage others through her Word Video Ministry, along with her group of Women of Integrity. Additionally, Jackie loved to dance, skate, and most of all decorating her home. Jackie also enjoyed occasional wedding planning.

Jackie’s Christian walk with God began at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. Mack C. Davis, at the Second Missionary Baptist Church where she was an active member and sang in the 100 voice choir.  Jackie later united with Zoe Outreach Ministries under the spiritual guidance of Pastor Melvin D. Hargrove.  Jackie remained an active member of Zoe until God called her home.

In 1983 Jackie married Lennis Reynolds. Jackie had three handsome sons that she thought the world of; Darquice Streeter, Lennis and DeJuan Reynolds all of Racine.

Jackie leaves to cherish her precious memories, her sons, Darquice, Lennis and DeJuan; and a special daughter Angie Sanders. Sisters; Barbra Buckley, Joyce Howell, Carmen Streeter-White (James Barker Sr.), Hope Smith, Frannie (RaQim) Al-Salahuddin, Anne (John) Wangaard, and brother; Tim Brown

Jackie is further survived by four grandchildren, her one and only grandson DeJuan Reynolds Jr., three grand-daughters; Arniessie Reynolds, Amiriah Reynolds and Nalia Reynolds; bonus grand-children; Tolan and Soleil Johnson, Godchildren Tyrann Mosley, Shaumel Harris, Tia Morris. She loved and enjoyed her extended families James and Ethel Brown, Mae Nunn (Mom Mae), the Walker, Streeter, and Hamilton Families. She had her best friends always beside her Evon McNeal, Cheri Foster, Norma Ramos, and Twyla Clark.; God-brother Jonathan Gholston. Jackie also had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved dearly.

Jackie’s smile could light up a room.  She could be stubborn but her faith in God could balance her out. Jaqueline is proceeded in death by her parents William Henry Streeter III, Lela (James) Moore; Sister Arniessie Streeter; Maternal Grandparents, Paternal Grandparents; Niece Kayomi Streeter; Nephew Artist Echoles III; God-daughter Jacqualine Thomas.

Family and friends are invited to meet at New Omega Baptist Church (5731 Northwestern Ave.) on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, for a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.   A service celebrating her life and Homegoing will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jerome Riley.  NEW OMEGA REQUIRES MASKS AT ALL TIMES You may watch the service via livestream by clicking on this link shortly before the service  starts. https://youtu.be/mhPVWAawNVg   Jacqueline will be interred at Graceland Cemetery following the service at church.

Testimonials

Words cannot even begin to express the tremendous gratitude our family has for a team like the one at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home & Crematory. Thank you for the gentle lovely care over our mother Delia (Rosa) Balderas. Never having had a direct experience with a funeral home to this extent we didn’t know what to expect. We didn’t have a clue that they would step right in and have the most comforting team surrounding us that thought of ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING for anyone in our position. It was very evident from the first discussion on the phone that they were already well prepared to handle every little detail for us that we weren’t even aware would be required. Mark and his team truly eased so much of the unknown worries right out of our path, and left room for us to just focus on the small personal details we wanted for our mom. It was nice to know that all cost involved was in black and white on their site as well as on paper at our first meeting. Leaving no room for question or doubt what so ever with any fee involved. It was truly a blessing to have everything written out so well and simplified with various price range options in a time that we needed crystal clear direction. Its been beautiful to see that their care and service didn’t stop after our mom’s service came to an end. They continue to be in communication with immediate responses as questions arise along the way. God bless Mark, and the entire compassionate team, to be around to guide many many more for generations to come through life’s most difficult times. You are all truly amazing.
