I spent quite a lot of time with Judith over the period of three or four years, as together we learned to play the Dobro. She was always so welcoming and hospitable, a great conversationalist, and simply a really wonderful person. I will always be grateful for her presence in my life – truly a gift. Judith, you were well loved.

How sad. Judith and I were in an early band together—and she played her dobro for the first time in our band at a gig in Framingham, MA. I remember when she bid on the dobro at the Joe Val Festival and was so excited when she got it—and began learning to play it. She had many talents, including playwriting and singing, in addition to the dobro.

I was so sad to hear that Judith has passed away. She was an inspiration to me in our little church art group, and I will miss her.

I too was sorry to hear of Judith’s passing. She was a member of an AAUW book group that I was also in and she was always interesting and lively. I’ll miss her.
