What a lovely photo of Karen! It captures the peace and kindness in her eyes so very well. It was a blessing to get to know her during her time at Harvest Home. She truly was a caring, helpful and fun lady and did her best to help others enjoy life as she did. She met her challenges with a “keep moving forward” attitude that was refreshing and inspiring. I am praying for God’s nearness and comfort to surround your family in this time of loss.

My heart goes out to you Katie and Tayllip and my heartfelt sympathy to your family.
Karen has such loving and caring siblings and their partners.
Karen was a wonderful friend for 40 years. We supported each other as single parents and I will always have great memories of our adventures, we went through good times and bad, always there for each other and our children! Together we grew in our faith and spirituality! We were family and of course Katie and Tayllip still are our family! I will miss you my dear sweet, loving, kind, and caring friend! I love you Karen and I know your love is still with me! Much love to Katie and family and prayers you will have peace with God’ loving arms wrapped around you!

I remember Karen’s beautiful photographs of “Trudy’s Gardens” at Lake Oaks, with a special slideshow presentation and tea party for residents and guests. Karen was a kind and generous friend to my mother, Trudy. They bonded over their shared love of beauty and nature, and similar spiritual pursuits. With sympathy and caring thoughts.
