A private service will take place.

MOUNT PLEASANT – Per Stauersbol, 71, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

He was born in Struer, Denmark on August 11, 1953, the son of Halfdan and Ingeborg (nee Pedersen) Stauersbol.   He graduated from Washington Park High School in 1974.

Per worked as an engineer for various steel casting companies.  He also used his engineering skills to design and create wood and metal art pieces.  In addition, he was a talented painter.   Per enjoyed his peaceful times riding his bicycle, camping, watching television, and perusing Amazon.

He is survived by his mother, Ingeborg Stauersbol; his daughters and son, Rachel (Jason) Haubrich, Rhianon Robey, Brandon Robey; his grandchildren, Amyah, Kailey, Alaynah, Izayah, and Kaia; his sisters and brothers, Solvai (Derald) Sanchez, Ninna (Bill) Frank, Ole (Teri) Stauersbol, Niels (Ruth) Stauersbol; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Per was preceded in death by his father, Halfdan Stauersbol; his brother, Poul Eric Glud; his nephew, Ryane Frank; his nephew, Kim Glud; and his great niece, Savannah Jackson.

A private service will take place.
