His funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, August 20th at 12 O’clock Noon. Visitation will be prior to the funeral from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery Hwy 32.

Frank R. Garcia Sr., 65, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, August 15, 2025, with his loving wife at his side. He was born in Racine on September 7, 1959, the son of Seferino and Rosa (nee: Hernandez) Garcia. Frank was a 1977 graduate of J.I. Case High School. On September 24, 1977, he was united in marriage to the love of his life Anita Sanchez. He had been employed by InSinkErator Co. for over 38 years, retiring in 2020. Frank was an avid Packer Fan, golfer, and an accomplished accordion player. He was stylish in his dress and in the care of his cars, especially his pride and joy ’64 Thunderbird. Surviving are his wife, Anita; their children and grandchildren, Lisa Garcia, her children, Ricky, Anyssa (Cody) Healy, Sahraca and Michael, Maricella Garcia, her children, Kayla, Aryiah, and Kylie Rae, Frank (Christina Taylor) Garcia Jr., and their children, Sophia and Elias; his loving three great-grandchildren, Jaxtyn, Freya, and Ryker; his mother, Rosa (Alex) Hernandez; three sisters, Maria (Roy) Cuevas, Becky Garcia, and Alexis (Michael) Nelson, mother-in-law, Stella Sanchez, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Nicholas (Raquel) Sanchez Jr., Lydia (Antonio) Valadez, and his loving furry friend, Chuco. His nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive him. He was preceded in death by his father, Seferino and father-in-law, Nicholas Sanchez Sr.

How I delighted in taking care of Frankie when he was first born and then as a toddler. He was gracious, kind and had a winning smile. I admired his love for his wife and family, which almost matched his love for Tejano music, due to which he learned and mastered playing the accordion, a love that he shared with my husband. I thank the Lord for the gift that HE bestowed upon us who knew Frankie! I call myself blessed to have called him my nephew! May his eternal residence be a place filled with beauty, love, Tejano music and peace!

Frankie as I always called him, was my very first nephew and He always had a smile on his face. Years ago Frankie came to visit me in California and we both were fortunate enough to attend a martial arts competition in Long Beach, California where Bruce Lee was performing. Frankie told me that he had a Big Brother that was a Fireman & a skilled martial artist & I mentioned that maybe his Big Brother could teach him a few moves. About 30 years later, Frankie came to visit again but this time he had his beautiful family with him and they drove from Wisconsin to California for my daughter’s wedding; we were elated and we’ll always have those fond memories of Frankie & his family. Approximately 2 -3 years ago we were in Chicago visiting our grandson and had the opportunity to drive to Wisconsin for a very short visit, unfortunately Frankie was not there; I wanted Frankie to meet my two grandsons but it wasn’t meant to be. I met & worked with Frank at InSinkErator in the press room over 25 years ago. Frank was always upbeat and positive about life. He always had an easy smile on his face and a pleasant word. Over the years our paths crossed when he showed his Thunderbird at local car shows where we touched base and caught up on life. Many times during fair weather when I drove past his house and he was in the yard, he always greeted me with a wave and a smile. Frank was a good guy. There should be more people in the world like Frank.
